Job description
Being part of the operations team, the scoop operator has the function of transporting ore from a loading point to a drop-off point.
Main tasks
- Respect safety standards at all times;
- Inspect the machinery before starting the shift;
- Inspect work places, loading points and ore drop-off points;
- Use and complete his work card throughout the shift;
- Load the ore at the loading point;
- Transport the ore to the drop-off point;
- Unload the ore in a sterile or ore fall as required;
- Inspect the machinery at the end of the shift so that it is operational for the next shift;
- Enter the parking space for the shuttle loader at the end of the shift for the next shift;
- Complete the daily report at the end of the shift;
- Any other related tasks.
Requirements
- Underground hard rock Common Core;
- Hold a valid explosive license;
- Have a high school diploma or other equivalent degree;
- Fluent in English is required.
